So with these conditions I've been guiding my guests to the close in reef patches early on then moving to the bay later in the day to avoid the wind switch and bigger seas.
Tom and Wendy Sims were with me Saturday and the patch reef fishing was really good. We kept a mess of Porgy's and a big Red Grouper for the table. Released were 25 grouper and various snapper, porgys ect. Tons of fun using Fox Bonefish Trek rods paired with Diablo 350 spinning reels. Tom liked using the Fox Rage Ultralight rod and managed the biggest Grouper of the day. Nice catch using 10lb Horizon braid line!
Diablo 350's paired with Bonefish Trek and Rage Ultra light rods worked on the patch reefs. Porkfish |

On the trip out to the bay we got pretty wet as a few squalls were passing by. The action was non stop for two hours. We caught lots of Seatrout,Spanish Mackerel and Ladyfish. We managed enough Mangrove Snapper for a fish fry. Everyone really enjoyed using the flawless Diablo 350 spinning reels matched with Fox Trek Bonefish rods and Fox Rage Ultralight rods spooled with Horizon 10lb braid. Fall fishing is here.

Offshore there have been a few Sailfish showing up but not a lot of anglers out there with the big seas.
