Sunset Trip

Phil Cacciatore brought his grandsons down for an afternoon of Tarpon fishing. We had 2 hookups and went 2 for 2. Brian and Kenny Cronin each caught their first ever Tarpon. These boys are really good anglers and caught their fish in half the time it takes most folks. They did it by using the Fox Sailfish Trek Diablo 750 combo. By putting the rodtip down to the water's surface and pulling the line right over the Tarpon's back it quickly breaks the spirit of the Tarpon and cuts the fight time in half. These boys kicked butt. With the 8ft Sailfish Trek rod you can hold it with both hands and really put the pressure on. It was fun to watch these boys figure it out and do the job.
